Eco-hydrate reduces evaporation and
improves the uniform wetting of both soil and potting media. When
applied to lawns, gardens or potted plants, this dual action reduces the
number of water applications required as moisture is retained and
utilised more efficiently.

Wilt time comparison between water
only and eco-hydrate treated plants
Eco-hydrate captures soil moisture that is normally lost
by evaporation, keeping soil moist for longer. Eco-hydrate also
improves moisture retention by increasing the depth and uniform wetting
of the soil and plant roots.
The humectants in eco-hydrate increase moisture levels around plant
roots by attracting water vapour. This effectively reduces plant
stress caused by the roots not accessing enough moisture and
overheating. Eco-hydrate is enriched with seaweed, fulvic acid and
amino acids which enhance plant anti-oxidant levels. Anti-ontidants
improve plant tolerance to moisture and heat stress.

Eco-Hydrated Lawn
Eco-hydrate contains organic soil wetting agents which improve the
penetration and uniform spread of moisture in soil. This reduces
run-off and the problem known as "finger flow", where water runs through
small tunnels away from the root zone.

The contents of the first jar has been wet with
ordinary water - notice the finger flow
The contents of the second jar has been wet with eco-hydrate - notice
the uniform wetting
Eco-Hydrate contains plant-based ingredients and long chain organic
polymers. The soil wetting agents used in eco-hydrate have been
specifically selected as they have no impact on ecosystems or aquatic
organisms. All ingredients are completely biodegradable.
Directions for use
Lawns
Seeding or sodding: Mix 500ml contents
into a 10L watering can and apply evenly to 100m2. Wash
off leaves with hose or clean water from watering can.
General Maintenance: Dilute 25ml/L (or 250ml/10L) in a watering
can and apply every 2-4 weeks during hot dry periods.
Plants
Pot Plants and Seedlings: Dilute 50ml/L of eco-hydrate with
water and add 200ml of this solution per 15cm diameter of pot.
Apply to newly planted seedling beds with a watering can. Wash off
residue from sensitive seedlings.
Landscaping: Dilute 25ml of eco-hydrate per litre of water in a
large watering can and apply around newly planted trees and potted
colour.
