Protector is a specially formulated "soft soap" developed in NZ by Hort Research NZ. Protector is a fungistatic, suppressing Botrytis and Sour Rot in vines and Brown Rot in stone fruit. Protector is certified organic and has no effect on wine indicators (e.g. tainting) when used as directed. When applied in conjunction with powdery and downy mildew sprays, it maximises their effectiveness.
